Our Story

In 2002 God spoke to Anthony Dawkins to go to Laurens and start a church. After much pray and fasting in June 2002 he opened the doors to then Evangelical House of God of Laurens from which he had come from in Greenville, S.C. under the Leadership of Apostle James L Dawkins. The ministry progressed and Pastor Dawkins was elevated to the office of Bishop. In that same year he was lead to join an organization call P.H.I.P.A. (Potter's House International Pastoral Alliance) under the leadership of Bishop TD jakes. Then God led Bishop Dawkins to change the name and the mission of the ministry to Empowerment Christian Fellowship. In the coming year God would also lead us to change locations. We then moved the ministry to Simpsonville S.C. and that is where we reside. In February of 2012 the office of Apostle was bestowed upon Apostle Anthony Dawkins under the care of Apostle Winston Sinkler. Apostle Dawkins is married to Prophetess Melissa Dawkins with 5 children between them ( Alysha, Ashley. Micah,Caden and Maria) .If you are ever in the Simpsonville area stop in and be empowerwered.
